Privacy Policy for Shot Call'a

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Shot Call'a ("App," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Shot Call'a is designed as an offline-only party game. We do not directly collect any personally identifiable information from you, nor do we track your location, contacts, photos, or any other sensitive data from your device.

2. Data Stored Locally

The App stores certain non-personal data locally on your device to enhance your gameplay experience. This may include:

  • Game State: Your current game progress, chosen house rules, player names, and active expansion packs are saved locally so you can resume your game.
  • User Preferences: Settings such as sound effects preferences or chosen drink modes are stored on your device.
  • Purchased Content: Information about purchased expansion packs and "remove ads" status is stored locally, and also managed through RevenueCat, an in-app purchase platform, to ensure your entitlements are maintained.

This local data is not transmitted to our servers or shared with any third parties, except as explicitly described below for in-app purchases. You can typically clear this local data through your device's app settings or by deleting the app.

3. In-App Purchases (via RevenueCat)

Our app uses RevenueCat for managing in-app purchases (e.g., expansion packs, remove ads). When you make an in-app purchase:

  • RevenueCat collects and processes necessary transaction information, such as your purchase ID, the product purchased, and the date of purchase.
  • RevenueCat may collect certain device identifiers or other non-personally identifiable information to function properly, prevent fraud, and provide analytics on purchase behavior.
  • RevenueCat's data collection and processing are governed by their own Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review their policy for more information.

We use information from RevenueCat to:

  • Validate and deliver your purchased content (e.g., enable expansion packs, disable ads).
  • Provide purchase restoration functionality.
  • Understand aggregated purchase trends to improve our App.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob / Google Publisher Tags)

Our App may display advertisements using Google AdMob or Google Publisher Tags. These ad services may collect and use certain information to serve personalized ads:

  • Device Identifiers: Such as advertising IDs (e.g., Android Advertising ID or Apple's Identifier for Advertisers) to help ad networks deliver relevant ads.
  • Device Information: Including device type, operating system, and IP address.
  • Usage Data: Information about your interactions with ads (e.g., impressions, clicks).

This information is collected and processed by Google AdMob/Google Publisher Tags according to their Privacy Policy. You can typically opt-out of personalized advertising through your device's privacy settings.

Shot Call'a is intended for users of legal drinking age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete such information from our records.

8. MOBILE APP; INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & TRADE SECRETS

Shot Call'a Games, LLC ("Company") owns and operates the Shot Call'a mobile application and related digital services (the "App"), in addition to this website and physical products.

Subject to any end-user license presented in the App, the Company grants only a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the App for personal, non-commercial entertainment. The Company retains all right, title, and interest in the App software, branding, trademarks, content, and platform.

The Company's confidential and proprietary information constitutes trade secrets under applicable law, including without limitation: deck-construction and shuffle logic; special-card density, selection, and spacing rules; turn, timer, and storytelling-phase logic; special-card mechanics and inventories; online lobby, sync, and multiplayer coordination logic; house-rules and game-balance parameters; leaderboard and stats aggregation methods; monetization, entitlement, and advertising-frequency logic; and other non-public formulas, processes, configurations, and know-how embodied in or underlying the App (collectively, "Trade Secrets").

Trade Secrets are not sold or licensed to you. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decrypt, or otherwise attempt to derive source code, algorithms, or Trade Secrets from the App or related services, except to the limited extent such restriction is prohibited by mandatory applicable law. You may not scrape, harvest, probe, or systematically extract non-public App logic or data; interfere with security or access controls; or use the App to build a competing product using our Trade Secrets.

If you obtain Trade Secrets without authorization, you must promptly notify us at info@shotcallagames.com (or the contact email then listed on this site), cease use, and return or destroy such information as we direct.

These mobile-app provisions supplement (and do not replace) the rest of these Terms of Service and any in-app End User License Agreement you accept.
